How to be a creator with simple to use immersive technologies, including Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence

How to be a creator with simple to use immersive technologies, including Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence

2:30pm-4:00pm, Camberley Theatre Conference Room

In this session, you’ll learn how the creatives of the project STORYTRAILS (the UK’s largest immersive storytelling project) learnt from scratch how to make augmented reality walking trails, and 3d scanned stories of people and places in their home towns. And how libraries became the new place to go to experience these new technologies.

Importantly, you’ll get a chance to find out what skills you need to work with these technologies AND there;s a chance to get hands-on and do a bit of 3d scanning and creating yourself!

At a time when the world is gripped by AI, why not come and find out how to get creative with it?

Session run by the StoryFutures team at Royal Holloway University, led by Professor Amanda Murphy and Destiny Lawrence.

Suitable for 14+
